Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

I totally love his hair! What salon does he go to? Just kidding!

How does his hair stick up like that? What kind of hairgel does he use? When he goes to sleep or gets it wet does it get messed up?

http://sps.nus.edu.sg/~wongjian/sasuke.j...

Even when he's little!

http://www.animegalleries.net/albums/Nar...

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

The salon? Oh no, it's called he goes to the chicken coop and the nin-farmer cuts it like all chicken butts should look like.

When it gets wet, it goes straight down. I forget what episode or something but it happened... for like 3 seconds. It's called the no gravitaional field since Narutos sticks straight up. Maybe he does it with chakra? Who will every know.

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

Tee hee! Super glue a black spray painted chicken! Report It

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

chill it is a fantasy, if you want your hair like that,.. well it is going to take a lot of hair-gel....LOL

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

Aah I love his hair! Especially when he's little, and his bangs are all hanging in those large, loveable eyes of his. ^^

He must use some very good styling mousse! Or that freezing spray--whatever it's called.

Maybe when he was young, his mother would style his hair and then he continued doing it until he was older. XD

He keeps a little bottle of hairspray in his kunai pouch.

Even when he goes to sleep or his hair gets wet, it's still somewhat spiky and fun! It curves a little, though.

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

He must use a lot of hair gel. I guess Naruto does too.

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

Muahaha...lol

I've always wondered how their hair defys gravity

Maybe Everyone just has a lot of styling gel.

I bet that they somehow transfer their chakra into their hair ^-^

I love how cute he gets when his hair is wet/ when he sleeps.

Its kinda stays up, but curves into slight angle. I hate to be a fangirl right now but

* fangirl scream* Sasuke is so cute

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

He doesn't have a hair dresser.. He puts a little gel here and there and ushes a mini comb to brush it into place. And its just natural..

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

hmmmm good question...

idk...

but he pulls it off really well doesn't he?

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

I think he uses that ICE super spiker stuff. I wonder how it looks when he goes to sleep... Good question!

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

They spray paint a chicken black and superglue it to his head!

Who is Sasuke's hair dresser?

he uses A LOT of hair gel.

trust me. i've accually gotten bored enough to see if i could get my hair to look like his. and let's just say it didn't go all that well...-_-''''''''''

PLEASE help with my hair its soo UGHHH -.-?

the only thing you can do is have a healthy diet and make sure you take a good daily multivitamin. use a good shampoo and conditioner (no pantene, garnier, or any other drug store brand; only good salon brands). only shampoo every other day at most. cut down on your use of heat styling tools. massage your scalp to increase bloodflow. there is no "magic lotion" you can apply to make it grow, as there is nothing you can apply topically to make hair grow, since it grows from the inside out. you just have to tough it out. make sure you get a trim (im talking 1/4 to 1/2 inch max) every 6 to 8 weeks (and maybe a new stylist). and you should probably stop thinning it out. thinned hair is harder to grow.

good luck!

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

Where i get my hair cut there is a separate person who washes hair, and then the stylist. How much to tip each? This has always confused my, I am never sure who i should tip.

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

You don't. You're already paying the asking price for the service. Why the hell should you pay more?

The expectation of tips in the US has gotten out of hand. Do you tip a pilot, working for Major Airline X, as you get off the plane? He or she just provided you a service by getting you safely across the country. I don't see too many tip jars by the cockpit door.

Just because somebody makes a wage in whatever job below a certain range does not entitle the rest of us to give them a little extra "just to help." If that person feels stiffed, then he or she should find another position or another career field and earn a wage commensurate with his or her skills.

The person who invented tips probably also came up with the phrase, "There's a sucker born every minute."

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

2-5 dollars is just fine

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

$2 for the hair washing person, 20% for the haircutter. If it's a nice place.

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

Hairdresser:15% to 20%. (It is now acceptable to tip owner, unless he or she says otherwise.)

Shampoo person:$2

I got this off of a website... however, i would never tip the shampoo person only $2... i think $5 is much better.. $2 seems really cheap...

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

no more than 5 dallors

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

i tip the shampoo girl $5 and the hairdresser 20%

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

your tip should be "thank-you", or "mo hair"

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

Well it comes down to what you feel they were worth I guess. Me persionally I usually tip my stylist $5 and throw an extra $2 or $3 to the person that washes my hair. Quite honestly the hairwashing is the best part of the haircut, it's always nice when some one massages your scalp.

How much to tip hair dresser, and hair washing person?

Depends on your hairdresser~ if their are two people working on you, they normally split the tip. Usually the hairdresser spends more time on you than the person washing your hair.

Again depends on your hairdresser~ If she's loyal, takes her time, treats you like a Queen~ she's gentle, talkative, offers you a soda, don't ask alot of questions~ I usually give half of what it cost.

I'm not saying I'm picky but if I'm there setting for two hours having highlights, style. I'll pay her well!

Hunting for a hair dresser in Cobb Co.!!?

Help! I can't find a good hairdresser in Cobb!!! Everytime I get my hair cut it is always uneven as crap!!!! Can anyone recommend someone that can cut hair WELL and EVEN!!!

Yikes!

Thanks!!

Hunting for a hair dresser in Cobb Co.!!?

Yes.

Vicki at Hair Europa is a genius! I have seen her do all types of hair. She does cuts, colors, and highlights. I have never ever seen anyone leave her chair without looking amazing!

Going to the hair dresser?

When I go to get my hair cut why do I always look so terrible in their mirrors? I look fine when I get out of my car, looking in my own mirror at home. The person cutting my hair always looks good. I always look aweful. I think they make the lighting like that on purpose!

Going to the hair dresser?

Wow phew..

I thought it was just me

I don't like looking in their mirrors

Going to the hair dresser?

i have to laugh because i feel that way too. but lately i think i look pretty good.

Going to the hair dresser?

it's your guess i think, but really i know you are so beautiful even without hair!!

Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

I had my hair cut over a year ago. The stylist did this thing to my hair where she cut into my hair and shredded it, it looks stringy and frayed. I have layers and my hair is long,I don't want to cut my hair short. Should I just start having my hair trimmed? I already know one trim will not get all the ugly part off .What would you do? Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

I would try getting it trimmed once a month. It will eventually grow out. Also, start going to a male hair dresser. I've been going to the same guy for over 10 years now. He told me if you're a woman, to always go to a male hair dresser, he will always make sure you look your best, a woman hair dresser will make sure she still looks better than you.

Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

trim it....but if your not doing it....tell the hairdresser EXACTLY how you want it...my hairdresser once cut too much off....btw there is no way to cut your hair wrong

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

I really want to get my hair cut, but i'm afraid they'll mess it up.

So how exactly could I explain it to them?

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

Good choices! Either would look good on you. Print the pix and take them to the stylist...verbal descriptions leave a lot of room for misinterpretation. Also, if you see someone with a similar cut that you like, ask them who did their hair. Stylist, like other creative people, have 'long suits', things they are good in. Some are great at short hair cutting, not so good with long. Some are great with coloring hair, so-so at cutting, etc. That's why seeing a hair cut that you like and finding the stylist that cut is is so beneficial. Good luck!

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

Bring the picture in with you and they should be able to help you and they will ask you what lenght you want etc. Let them know that you want their opinion and some help talk to them about it before hand.

help me with mine

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

lol.thats the "rachel"

just print the picture and show your stylist.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

print the picture out, and show it to them.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

bring your hairdresser a picture

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

Print out the picture and give it to the stylists.

Say you want long choppy layers with choppy side bangs.

Also, point to the things you really like in the picture.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

I would just print out this picture and bring the picture in so your stylists can see exactly how you want your hair.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

I'm not a hairstylist, but with some experience

in going to salons, I easily hand them the picture

and work with them by talking it out.

If you want a shorter length, say so.

If you want different bangs, say so.

You just have to be cooperative in order

for the hairdresser to do it right.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

Print out pictures of what you want. I would recommend that you skip GreatClips and go to a professional salon where the stylists are more adept to understand what you want. Show your stylist the pictures, and explain to her what it exactly is that you like about each picture (length, bangs, coloring, etc.) She/he will most likely be able to interpet these pictures to prefection on your own hair.

Also, during the appointment, don't be afraid to speak up while the stylist is hacking away and ask for changes...otherwise you'll be left with a 'do' you didn't want for the next 5 months, lol HIH

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

Show the picture to the hairstylist and they shouldn't mess it up.

Hair stylists only: How would I tell a hair dresser how to cut my hair like this?

the first picture pretty much looks like how my hair is cut. my stylist put long layers in it. you could probably just say "i want my hair layered" it would probably come out how you want it. but to get it to look pretty much exactly how you want it, get a picture. sometimes getting your hair cut a certain way wont look exactly like the picture you bring in though, it all depends on how the stylist interprets the picture, how thick your hair is, where you natural wave is (if you have one), and how short you cut it.

I can't wait to see your new hair!

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

i got my hair dyed saturday brown with a t/bar with red!!! i just had a bath there now and the water is red!!! is that amount of hair dye suppose to wash out, and there is some red on my shirt now as well from drying my hair!!!!!red is still in the hair at the front but cant tell if its still in it in the back!!! any way is it normal!!!!1

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

this happens and is normal. Buy a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair it will preserve the colour longer. Elvive is good. Good luck

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Yes, the first wash will always be a bit red - I dye my hair copper, and the first wash will defintely show red. I always make sure that I leave it wrapped up in an older or coloured towel for a while, and not wear my nice shirt straightaway. After a couple of washes it'll settle down.

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

of course its normal at my sallon some people come and get there hair dyed and then funky stuff like that happens but there could be two problems ussually the cause for this is way to much hair dye or that you washed your hair too soon just a while and your hair will be fine and .I cant have my hair dyed because my hair gets very stiff and thats because my hair isnt used to the dye.

hope this helps!

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Yes it is normal for red hair dye to frequently run. It will lessen but it never stops washing out when shampooing your hair. That is the problem with red hair dyes, they run and fade a lot more quickly then other hair colours. My friend used to dye parts of her hair red, but gave up after a few months because she had to keep re-doing every 2-3 weeks or so because it would fade to the point that it became orange.

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

this is normal!!!

colourist has most likely used too much dye! if she didnt explain this to you u could maybe speak to her and get your hairdo cheaper the next time!!!

PS next time try not to wash your hair for a good few days to let the colour settle(just the same as when you have a perm!!) and remember to use a shampo/cond. for colour treated hair, salon performance ones are best doll!! maybe worth investing in a good colour treatment too!!

ask your stylist about it!! x

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

sorry, reds fade terribly they usually look kind of brownish after as little as 3 weeks depending on haircolor product and strength of developer used.

you say you had a bath. did you lie down in tub submersing head? the application of hot water will leech the color out like crazy, the heat opens cuticle . hot tubs and swimming pools too

in the future, to maintain red the best, shampoo/condition infrequently with cool water. color enhanced products can extend life of reds

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

go back to the place where you had the color done they should

be able to tell you best.also have them send your blouse to the cleaners.

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Some color will wash out for a couple of shampoos, but it really should only be enough to tint the suds of the shampoo you use, not to stain your shirt. They should have shampooed it out of your hair MUCH better than they did!!! Reds do fade much more than other colors, but if I were you I would let them know about your shirt and see what they will do for you. I know I would want to know if I messed up like that or if one of my stylists did something like that. Also you should make sure you are using a good shampoo for color treated hair because some shampoos will strip the color from your hair much faster than others. I wish you luck!

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

red hair always run

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Red hair color molecules are the smallest color molecules. It is normal for this color to fade. But, if you had a permanent color done there should be very little color coming out in the bath. If it was a semi-permanent color then a lot of color is not so unusual.

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Believe me ...its always like that on your first WASH I DYE MY HAIR BLACK AND ITS LIKE OH NO ALL MY HAIR DYE IS GONE NO ITS NOT BUT JUST SO YOU KNOW IT WILL BLEED UNLESS YOU SCRUB YOUR ROOTS REALLY GOOD

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

it is natural for the first few washes for it to run red i,m sure if you can see the red in the front of your hair it will still be in the back

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

i have no clu

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

Im no stylist but i can say is get sum color protector it a little tube u put in ur applicator bottle it will keep from fading

HELP!"!!!! Hair dressers out there i need ur help !!!!?

completely normal especially for red dye. red fades, and sometimes turns brown. use a shampoo for color treated hair.

Any hair dresser ? i need help?

Any hair dresser ? i need help?

GO TO A HAIR SALON AND THEY CAN ADVISE YOU WHAT TO USE. IF YOU ARE TAKING MEDICINE, THAT MIGHT BE THE CAUSE. YOU CAN CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACY AND THEY CAN TELL YOU IF IT IS THE MEDICINE

Any hair dresser ? i need help?

sweetie u might have cancer so just live ur life the way it is it does nos not mader if u r ugly beause in the in side ur butiful

Any hair dresser ? i need help?

Only 14, that's very young! Ok, their could be be many things that is causing your hair to come out. Stress, depression some medicine's. But try putting Vitamin E in your shampoo. It worked for me, but mine was stress. After I got that under control, then my hair was back to being healthy again.

Any hair dresser ? i need help?

well chances are ur follicles are still alive.U may have gotten them clogged with product or medication. and stress can be a huge part of this. Have u done anything chemically to ur hair. what u need to do is no chemicals and get a nioxen set and nioxen vitamins. The set will clean out ur follicles and stimulate hair growth by bringing blood to the surface of ur scalp. Try to destress as much a possible. no tight ponytails and no hairtyes with rubber or metal - scrunchies are the best. Email me if u need more help! good luck

Dax hair dresser?

Would it help with dread locking? Because my hair is about 3 inches all over and I recently started locking (Like 3 weeks ago) and my twists are starting to come loose. I have some dax and it has a really strong hold which i like. Would ruin the locking proccess?

Dax hair dresser?

I wouldnt think so.. it's just matted hair, not like its a complicated style.

Ok so i have quite dark hair and i wanna go blonde! would the hair dresser be able to get it the colour i want

Yes, any hairdresser will be able to get your hair blonde.

Ok so i have quite dark hair and i wanna go blonde! would the hair dresser be able to get it the colour i want

The colorist will have to remove not only your natural pigment but the color you put on your hair as well. This can be done, but the process will be lengthy and possibly damaging to your hair taking into consideration (1) how dark your hair is now and (2) how light you are wanting to end up.

Get an appointment for a consultation. Usually the charge for this is minimal if anything at all.

Best of luck!

Ok so i have quite dark hair and i wanna go blonde! would the hair dresser be able to get it the colour i want

nooooo i dye my hair by myself trust me i have experience if you get it done at a hair salon no matter which one u go to it will NEVER come out the color u want u dont have to be a pro to color ur own hair just by the box and read the directions.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

Okay so i just got my bangs cut and there ugly, plus my hair is curling, i dont want to staighten it just make it look better easly.

here are some photos, what should I DO!???

http://blingee.com/blingee/view/41909603...

http://blingee.com/blingee/view/41910122...

thx

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

rock your bangs!! or pull them back with fun barretts and clips. even chuncky headbands. ur hair isnt all that curly, mine is way curlier. they have shampoos to help keep hair staight like herbal essances "dangerously straight".

hope i helped!! just remmeber its hair it grows back! especially bangs mine grew back in as little as 3 months

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

Don't worry about it girl they look fine. If you really hate them though you could always just clip them up until they grow out.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

Go to a better hairstlying place and ask around where people think is the best and get some side bags. Since your bags were cut short the style will work.

Until then wear your hair in a pulled back ponytail and pin it down or put a head band in it.

Mainly: Don't panic! The same thing just happened to me 2 weeks ago.

Go for a shower to get the products that they used out.

GOOD LUCK!

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

i think it looks really good just pull your bangs outve your face and its fine

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

Sue. I will be honest, they look terrible. GRRRR It doesn't mean that YOU look terrible. They will grow really fast. I would take a headband and push them back for now. Once they grow a little you can adjust them yourself.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

If you had it done at a salon I would go back ask for the manager and ask: do you think this looks good? If she says no, ask for your money back.

But don't worry, it's hair, it will grow back.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

u can scrunch ur hair and then take bobby pens or a clip and pull ur bangs back and clamp them down. after they grow out more u can wear them as side bangs. bangs like those went out of style a long time ago for most people it looks bad anyway. sidebangs r really in now anywayz.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

You could clip them or pin them to the side and wait for them to grow out.

My hair is all curly and the hair dresser messed up my bangs!?

pin it back in a poof. i JUST RIGHT NOW got mine done and yours is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than mine truly. im now grieving :(((((((((((((. i had waist length brown hair. now just below shoulder length WITH THE crappiest layers YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. its hooorrrrrribleeeeeee. :(

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

The hair on my head underneath the top layer is unhealthy. The top dries straight but, since it is damaged, the hair underneath kind of curls up. My top layer of hair is healthy and shiny. I'm thinking it might be from pulling my hair back in a pony tail, but I don't do that when my hair is wet and I use the Pantene Restoratives hair strengthener. My hair dresser is trying to tell me that everyone's hair gets like that, but I really don't want to settle with that! :o) If anyone knows what I should do, I would really appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

cut it off, it will grow back........................

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

You should get it cut but just a trim so its not short! Ask the haircutter to cut off all the split and dead ends.

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

Always buy the more expensive shampoos+conditioners and avoid swimming in pools with chlorine. I know that second one sounds silly because most pools have chlorine in them, but it makes the world of difference. Chlorine weakens your hair and can even turn your hair green!

So yea, sorry for wasting all your time if you don't even swim:)

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

well i would say to try garnier or put on some hair oil that seems to work

good luck!

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

My sister does hair for a living and she deals with this stuff all the time!! Get a little trim to get all of the damaged ends and split ends off and do a deep conditioning. You can buy stuff at Walmart, a beauty salon or even have your hair stylist do it. It keeps your hair healthy and looking the way it should.

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

Maybe you can try hot cream of oil at any local drug store. :D They claim to help damaged hair, maybe you can try it out.

My hair underneath the top layer is unhealthy, any advice?

try some all natural product healthyer for your hair if want to know more give me a call or e-mail. 518-884-2861. corybiz7@yahoo.com

Can a hair dresser...?

Cut hair with it being dry, like without them washing it. Cuz I am getting my hair cut tomorrow and I would rather not have it washed.

Can a hair dresser...?

yes if you straighten it.If you have curly hair and where it curly it at least needs to be wet down.

just tell the stylist you already washed it.It should not be a problem.

Can a hair dresser...?

I've got NO idea!

Why would anyone want to get their head wet anyway? It's not like we're fish....

Speaking of fish...... time for a snack!

Can a hair dresser...?

i think they can?

im pretty sure cause they asked me that the last time i went but i mean it might just have been where i went

Can a hair dresser...?

yea..it cost less too.

Can a hair dresser...?

Then all you have to say it poitely "I would like my hair not washed please". They don't mind it

Can a hair dresser...?

impossible ..unless you want her to cut it crookedly . oh you mean getting it shampooed and rinsed .....yes you can just say no when they offer it

Can a hair dresser...?

They can do a better job when it's wet. Just suck it up so your haircut will look nicer, and don't forget to tip.

Can a hair dresser...?

Yeah of course they can.

When my cousin who is 12 got her hair cut she was asked if they could wash it because it was so dry. She didn't let them wash it so the hairdresser just used the spray bottle with water in it and wet most of it like that.

If your really worried about getting your hair wshed then the answer is simple.

Wash your hair before you go to the hairdresser's and keep it wet instead of drying it.

Good Luck!

Roxy Angel

xx

Can a hair dresser...?

We can and sometimes do. It works better if you have wavy or curly hair for it to be cut dry. If your hair is straight, it may take a little longer, because of the stylist having to go back and check for stragglers that pop out of no where. It can be done, all you have to do is ask.

Can a hair dresser...?

No they cannot cut hair dry but they don't have to wash your hair they can you the little spray bottle with water that they have at their station

Can a hair dresser...?

yes, we can cut fry hair! If you don't want to pay for the shampoo, tell them just to wet it with the water bottle. It SUCKS cutting dry hair!!!!! It flies around more, it gets into our clothes more and it doesn't;t how to say this, cooperate. it lies better and is just easier to cut when it is wet. My opinion is that you get a better cut with wet rather than dry hair.

Can a hair dresser...?

yeah they'll most likely just take a spray bottle and wet it down. then at the end a quick blow dry.

Can a hair dresser...?

why dont you want it washed? Thats dirty... well you dont have to get it washed but they will wet it either way.. Its okay if you already washed it.. I mean washing your hair several times can't hurt it =] Plus I love when the hairdresser washes my hair it feels good like a head massage and my hair smells nummy aha

Can a hair dresser...?

Sure! I've had mine cut dry and it always comes out nice. Do you not want it wet at all or just not shampooed? If you don't mind it just getting wet, tell your hairdresser that you already washed it that day.

Can a hair dresser...?

That answer truly depends on the hairdresser themselves, each are different some choose to cut it dry as it helps them better see how you wear it and the exact shape of it. Some prefer it to be wet, I myself ALWAYS wash the hair, cut it, blow dry it and go back in again and cut, to make sure it lays perfect.

Can a hair dresser...?

here - i.e., uk - thats called a dry cut and yes it can be done and yes its cheaper but sometimes your cut when you wash it and then dry it yourself does not sit the way it should, always best to get a wet cut!!!

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

what did you do when you saw your hair?

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Yes. I went to get my hair cut and highlighted one summer and the girl must have been new. She washed it, cut it, then dyed it, then washed it, then highlighted it, then washed it again and I had just washed it right before I got there and told her I had. So, my hair was so dried out from all of the washing and coloring, when she tried to style it after all of that, it started falling out in clumps. I just sat there with my mouth on the floor thinking "wtf?". She then started freaking out and the woman who owned the salon, who usually cuts my hair but was busy, was trying to calm her and me down. With a lot of leave in conditioner and a new layered style, it turned out okay but until my hair got back to normal, I had to over condition everytime I fixed it. It was horrible. I guess the woman did stupid stuff a lot because next time I went in there, she didn't work there anymore.

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Nope :)

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

No, Thank God!

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

omg yeah the last time i colored it!!!! i wanted highlights instead i came out grey!!!!!! I cried! But i got over it its just hair.

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Yes, I asked for 'layers" and she cut my hair to look like pageant hair big TExas hair.

When I saw it I held back tears and told her that it was the worst hair style i had ever been given.

she was upset, but i wasnt backing down.

She ended up not charging me, and I went to a better salon, and the lady said : man, who did your hair?

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

she actually burned my hair. i didn't know!! my mom felt my hair and felt the burns. the hairdesser said that it was the oil that made that sound. Guess what!!! my hair grew back!!!!

:)

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Yes. I raised Hell.

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Have you ever gone to get your hair fixed and the hair dresser totally messed up your hair?

Hair problems!?

My hair is naturally brown and my roots were starting to come in about 1/2 inch. My hair was dyed blonde with highlights and was brassy and gross- I hated it and wanted to tone it down. I went to sally's and got a nuetral med/dark blonde. I used a 30 volume and I did my roots first and then put it through the rest of my hair, so my roots could really lift. My roots have turned red/orangy color. How do I fix this? I have been having this problem lately even when I go to the hair dresser that is why I stopped going. Is this because I had a baby recently I heard that can change your hair. I am about to give up and just go to brown. When I bleach highlights into my hair they come out pink? My hair is not red. I have not dyed it red ever. what should I do?

Hair problems!?

go to the sally's supply store tell them what happened. they should direct you to toner o add to the dye that will tone down the brassy tones. use ash blondes not honey tones. my mom was red head i gave up on going tru blonde and have just gone red. brownish blonde is your best bet. you probably will want to let hair rest up with deep conditioners before attempting to re dye. they do sell a rinse that can tone down the brassy while you let it grow. darkening doesn't harm hair like lightening so you can always go to a light brown for a while or try a red.

Hair problems!?

uhhh....tough qn...

Hair problems!?

Sounds like you need to go to a hair salon that knows what there doing!! any salon good salon will tell you what you need to do and they will be able to do it.. it may cost you a bit but least you will have great results

Hair problems!?

I am a natural brunette and i think u should let it grow back to normal colour.Besides, everyone thinks i have lovely hair!

Hair problems!?

I am a senior hair stylist, please do not do anymore home colours! It is hard for stylists to correct things(you never know if the two colours on top of one another may react!)plus colour over different colour, makes a differance to the out come.Firstly find a good salon(from word of mouth)12% peroxide with bleach will lift that nasty orange colour you are talking about.Once lifted a toner will be applied(to tone down any yellowness)When you were colouring it yourself, you mentioned that you put the colour through the ends,I hope your hair can take more colour(pulling it through the ends too much, will make it weak)the hair stylist will observe that, and will be able to tell you.Go back to the other salon, and get your money back,or a voucher.Trust me you are intitled to something.Where I used to work,I was always correcting other stylists work-I used to offer them a service for free, taking it out of the other stylist, that messed it up.Hope this helps you.Wish I could do it for you!

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Today I got a perm from a place in a mall. Their sign said 'perms $65 and up.' I asked how much a perm for me would cost, and was told probably $65 as my hair isn't too long, about mid collar length.

The stylist gives me the perm, then asks if I want any cut off. I tell her yes, and tell her how much to take off.

Afterwards I go up to the counter to pay, and am shocked when I'm told the charge is $95!!! I ask why, if the sign says perms are $65, I'm being charged $95, and am told 'the perm was $65, the haircut was $30.

I've gotten perms about twice a year for the past 15 or so years, and every time they cut some off, and never ever have I been charged extra for a hair cut. Have a just been fortunate all these years?

My money's kinda tight right now, and I was happy to give myself a treat via the perm. But I thought I'd only be paying $65 + $15 for tip, but instead I paid the $95 and gave a $10 tip. I was kinda upset when I left.

What's been your experience? Thanks

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Some salons do this - perm = 1 service %26amp; the hair cut = a 2nd service. I've had a similar experience %26amp; just never returned to that salon.

The best way to avoid such situations is to ask if there is any extra charge. I think that most people are shy about asking or assume that if the stylist offered then it's included. I also wonder if stylists are under pressure to increase their revenue %26amp; take advantage of this.

BTW, you may want to consider going to training nights or modelling nights at upscale salons. Services are offered to clients at a nominal fee or for free. Such events allow junior stylists hone their skills under the supervision of senior staff or allow them to demonstrate new techniques.

Did hair dresser over charge me?

sounds right to me. 65 is the perm price- it obviously did not include the cut. you need a suga daddy

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Wow...any salon I've worked in included the haircut with the perm.

She should have stated the whole price before the service. Most professionals would. It's sneaky and wrong, seeing as you asked the price of the perm. She should have told you the price, and then added that a cut would be extra.

Next time make sure to ask if a cut is included in the price.

Did hair dresser over charge me?

I am an ex hairdresser. Yes i think you were over charged. In my past experience the cut was included in the perm charge. The only thing that would let the salon that over charged you off, would be if they had a separate price for the cut under the perm price. I always get them to right down my quotes and explain anything that may be extra. Sorry about your bad luck, just think, Karma! It will come back to them big time!

Did hair dresser over charge me?

I always thauth that the air cut was included with the perm. In my knowledge it would be $65.00 unless otherwise said on the wall somewhere air cut extra..Secondly if you say that your money is tight I would not give a $10.00 tips. Do you know of First Choice Haircutters, you dont need appointment for hair cut and it is only $10.00 but you do need an appointment for perms....I dont go to salon it is too expensive and you get the same service with pros at First Choice,,it is very popular here in Canada.

My hair dresser charged me more for less.?

This is the second time I go to this haridresser. The first time I was completely satisfied. The second time however, she only did about 15-20 highlights (re-touch) and roots...thats it...she charged me like 30 dollars more. On top of that, she missed a piece of hair (it was not dyed) so after washing my hair she had to dye that little piece....

How can i ask politely about why she charged me more given that it was less work and she messed up!

HELP!!!

My hair dresser charged me more for less.?

If you are going to retouch something its going to be more because the hair dresser has to look and work with what its already there. You can just ask.

My hair dresser charged me more for less.?

how about worrying about the OTHER millions of problems in the world? if not then go to your hairdresser and ask politely if she can redo the job.

My hair dresser charged me more for less.?

A polite way of asking her might be to ask if the prices at the salon have changed since your last visit. That way it doesn't single her out, so it's not offensive. Just ask it very casually. If she says they haven't changed, then just say 'last time it was $30 less, I thought something had changed...did I get something different this time that was more?". Then she'll either explain the price, or realize her mistake and feel bad anyways. As long as you are friendly and casual, the situation should go smoothly. Good Luck!

Dying my hair from brown to blonde.?

I dyed my hair brown about 5 months ago and I want to go back to my natural color, blonde. Im getting very bored with brown and my hair has not been blonde in about 5 years, and I've already dyed my hair reds, blacks, pink and browns. So, I dont really want to go anyother color. My professional hair dresser is gonna bleach out my hair and then dye it blonde. I have bleached out my hair before about 4 years ago, so that I could dye it pink and I didnt ruin my hair. But now Im kinda worried about bleaching it beacuse Im always paranoied about my hair falling out and thats something I dont want. I do understand that it could get strawy, but you can get shampoo's to fix that. I just dont think my hair would take that much damage like falling out beucase when I bleached it years ago nothing like that happened(it was bright red then and I bleached it out white then dyed it hot pink). Please speak our opinions on what you think I should do.

Hair dresser at Michigan?

I live at Westland,MI, is there any places in this area that can cut asian hair style good? I dont want those crappy places and just shaved the hair. thanks

Hair dresser at Michigan?

There used to be a real good place in the Westland mall.

Most of the employes are oriental so I imagine they would know how to hook ya up.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

If a hair cut is $14, how much should I tip? I usually give 20% in resturants, so I've been giving $3. Does that sound right?

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

Yes, I used to give about $8 for a haircut of $32. It was more than 20%, but I did not mind rounding it up to $40.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

i think you should give them what you think they deserve. if you like what they, then be as generous as you want.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

if you are tipping,

the rule of thumb is the lowest tip baseline is taxX2, somewhere around %17 or %18.

Appropriate tips for barbers and hair dressers ususally runs five % higher or more, depending on the job done.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

Yes, that sounds great. A haircut here is $18.00 and I give her $4.00. I am a hairdresser also and we really appreciate the tips people give! Follow the same rules that you would for restaurants-10-20%. The better the service, the higher the tip.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

Tipping should be outlawed. Like charity giving.

It's all a sham.

Think about it.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

Yes, $3.00 is just fine. Anywhere from 15 to 20% is great. That is if the service is good, of course.

What do you tip your barber/hair dresser?

I give him tips like 'look both ways before crossing the road', or 'be good to your mother'. He gives me bad haircuts, so I suppose we're even.

My hair-dresser told me to wash my hair with a Clarifying Shampoo everyday because?

I had hard water build up in my hair. But wouldn't useing a Clarifying Shampoo everyday kill my hair? Also I brought the Paul Michell one but is there any I can buy at like ShopRite. I use Matrix (orange bottle), guess that shampoo is goin to go to waste, inless I can stop useing a Clarifying Shampoo kind.

My hair-dresser told me to wash my hair with a Clarifying Shampoo everyday because?

if you use clarifying shampoo everyday, your hair will just be super dry. don't do it

My hair-dresser told me to wash my hair with a Clarifying Shampoo everyday because?

I use suave clarifying shampoo. I buy it at Target for $1.50! I use it everyday to clean out all the product I put in my hair and then I use a moisturizing shampoo so it doesn't dry it out! My hair looks really shiny and feels clean and not weighed down! I would recommend it!

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

Usually when i get my hair done at the hair dresser i get red bits at the front on the fringe and sides...

.. but last time i had red thin bits all over my hair... and i think i perfer my jet black hair with red at front...........its more effective.

all the times of dyin my front bits red has caused multi-tone reds..

where they hav faded differently and look different wen dyed ontop of each red. - it looks quite good actually.

BUT i was thinking of dyin it all back to black myself, then get red put at the front at the hair dressers. That way the old red wont effect it...

Sounds like a good idea? and How long do i have to wait between dyes?

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

the first photo looks the best, i would try and keep it like that by just going over the red areas at the front to brighten them up again as they DO look faded in the last photo. there is a phrase used in my industry that states "colour will NOT lighten colour" which means that if you colour all of your hair black the you won't be able to go lighter without bleach. which means you would either have to bleach them to the red stage: http://photobucket.com/albums/j157/plati... which would be brassy without toner or bleach to the orange stage and THEN use a red haircolour. i have been in the business as a fully trained professional for 8 years so trust me when i say it will be a waste of money and make NO difference to your hair if you colour it black all over and then try and go over it with red.

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

usually about 2 weeks but that sounds cool, i like your style.

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

Sounds good, but wait a few weeks inbetween the dying sessions. An even easier way to do it would be to just go to a hairdresser and have her do dye it black and then red, because she can do it all in one go.

Good luck!

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

your meant to wait a good couple weeks between dyes but i never did, always sooner.

i think all black with red bits at the front would look cool, but then i bottle my hair blond with red tints and the front too see my avatar.

kind regards x kitti x

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

Um, I'm a boy and I kind of like most of them.

I'm not into that striking red that almost glows but any colour like what a woman would normally have looks nice.

I've got jet black hair naturally and you've given me a good idea to mess with some colours.- I see the rest of guys at college doing it and it might be fun..... Yea.

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

I suggest letting your hairdresser do the whole thing for you. If you dye your whole head back to black then ask your hairdresser to put red in, it will take a lot of work for him/her to get the black out in the places you want red. But if you just let your hairdresser do the whol thing, they will know exactly what to do in order to get the results you want and cause the least amount of damage to your hair.

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

Four to six weeks is best to wait on dying your hair .I like the second and third pictures the best .the third looks the most natural.

Red/ Black Hair Dye question!?

to be honest the black should really be done at the same time as the red.you see tint wont lift the tint out of youre hair so you may end up with red roots only im a hairdresser abd i deal with this a lot i would reccommend you go to a salon to have it done the dye is less harsh and you know you will get the rigght colour. good luck

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

Keep in mind that he is in downtown Toronto and he is a very good hair stylists.

My hair is pretty short. My curls, when pulled straight, hang down to my eyes.

I'm just worried this is way too over priced. If this is reasonable for a good salon, than I'm comfortable shelling it out.

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

I have been getting that done for a couple of years and mine is nearly $1,000. Lucky for you! But it does not last forever. Hair grows out. There will soon be a line where the unstraightened hair meets the chemically treated. That takes about a year though for it to be above your ears. It will never fade out though! Have fun with your beautiful new hair!

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

I think it's over priced. It won't last forever.

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

That sounds about right. It is very expensive, and it would be best for you to go to a good professional stylist to get it done.

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

OMG!!!! yes absolutely. what it would cost her for the stuff needed to do it would be around 50-100 dollars. it may very well be a good salon but paying 5x the amount what it costs the salon (which they probably get in quantities at a lower cost) is absolutely ridiculous. especially being that your hair is shorter. i could see if your hair was extremely thick and down to your butt-but its not. i would call other places and see what their prices are. ......i mean its not like your hair will be straight forever-eventually you will have to get it redone.-your roots need to get redone after awhile no matter what anyone tells you. you get about an inch or two and you have to get your roots done-otherwise you will look ridiculous. i have done this procedure before.

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

it is over priced. I don't think it will last forever. that's a hurbilie

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

50-100 dollars? PSYCHE.

Thats the range for a really good professional haircut with an experienced stylist.

And yes, it does last forever, most of these people shouldn't be answering questions they don't know about.

Your hair sounds short, but the starting place at most salons is about 475, so its not 'overpriced', just expensive.

My hair dresser quoted my 500 for japanese hair straightening. Is this over priced?

For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful - http://hcr.in/straighten.html

The hair dresser cut my bangs?

So the lady who cut my hair cut it too short and now my hair looks like crap. My bangs are too short and stick up!!!! I'm soo mad I'm seeing red. Is there anything I can do.. Oh' yea my hair is now uneven. Come to find out.. the lady is still in school... I got a refund but.. I'm still very mad. Idid not know she was in school if I did know that than I wouldn't of gotten my hair cut by her...So anyways is there anything I can do..?

The hair dresser cut my bangs?

that happened to me all i did was pulled my bangs back in a clip or put a headband on because it looked the layers.

The hair dresser cut my bangs?

Go to a BETTER hairdresser (ask for an experienced hairstylist) and ask if they can do anything to your hair to make it look cute. I'm sure they can. :] Don't be afraid to tell them you don't like something....or tell them what you want. You are paying them, so you should get what you're paying for!! don't be shy!! :]

The hair dresser cut my bangs?

clip your bangs back and get a new cut.

The hair dresser cut my bangs?

try straightening it so that they will stay down. it will most likely help. if not, i'd say clip it back or put your hairline to the side and make it go over your head to look like bangs. hope i helped.

Does the hair dresser deserve a tip for messign up?

i paid about +400$ includign tip to have my hair chemicaly relaxed. The person who did it, i know pretty well and always go to her. Well she had her assistant do the last part of flat ironing it becasue she had to go to her other salon and im pretty sure the assistant ****** up the part he had to do. Well after i washed out the chemicals after 5 days of not washing my hair, my hair still had some major curls in it which defiantly should have been straighten for what i paid. I called her and told her that my hair wasnt completely straight like it should and asked if she would redo it. she agreed with out hesitation but i didnt tell that i think its her assistants fault. So my question is, when she goes to redo the chemicaly straighten of my hair, should i tip her for it?

Does the hair dresser deserve a tip for messign up?

it might have not been her fault.

assuming you're not black, i've had my hair chemically relaxed by my aunt (so its been free :D) but the first time she did it it did not work at all. this is because my hair is really stubborn and they pretty much had to use an african american relaxer on my hair for it to actually work.

but if she has to redo her mistake, don't tip her for it.

Does the hair dresser deserve a tip for messign up?

I wouldn't have even paid her in the first place. That's hard though because if you like her. I would tip her. I would bring it up to her about her assistant though.

Does the hair dresser deserve a tip for messign up?

No , why should you tip her for making your hair how it was supposed to be in the first place .

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

well, i just recently went to get my hair done, and i didnt like what she did at all. see she never really does what i want, and i dont really like the way she cuts my hair anyway, but she was a friend of the family so i kinda didnt have a choice but to go to her. and so i was sooo looking forward ot it. i had an idea and everything and i told her exactly what i wanted. she didnt cut it right nad i hate it. she didnt even give me highlights when she dyed my hair. but shes really expensive..like $200. os of course when i told my mom i despised it she told her and she called me and now im going back today to see what she can do [i think its way too short so theres not much] adn she told my mom that she hates cutting my hari because im never happy and that she might have to fire me as a client??? what?? but i am never happy because she doesnt cut it right. but should i fee lbad about this or should i push it on her?

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

In my opinion, you are the customer and the hairdresser should try to give you the right cut, especially if you are paying a lot of money for your cut! It's wrong of her to say that you are never happy because thats not her concern. Her concern is to cut your hair, no matter what mood your in. And if she didn't give you highlights when you requested them, you definately need to get them put in by her. If she doesnt want to do you hair anymore and she gave you a bad cut, I say just go to someone new, family friend or not.

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

Don't feel bad - it's a hairdresser's responsibility to respond to what their client wants, regardless of their relationship to the client. I'd say good riddance and find someone more affordable who cares what you want. I know there are personal and social obligations, but if she's already thinking about "firing" you as a client anyway (which is RIDICULOUS) then you really have no loyalty there. Tell your mom you're insulted, it's her job to do your hair as you'd like it (especially for $200!), and ask your friends who they recommend. The best hairstylists come from word-of-mouth recommendation.

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

find a new stylist

for 200 they should do what you want

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

i dont blame you

"customer always comes first"

if she doesnt do what your paying her to do then shes not a good hairdresser, maybe you didnt describe it well. which i doubt because you seem to know what you want

final word%26gt; her fault%26gt; shes wrong

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

why dont you just get a new hair dresser

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

her not giving you what you want is very unprofessional of her!!! you should really consider finding a new stylist, one who will be good and give you what you want

:)bae

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

good grief! Why all the drama? You don't like the way she does your hair, she doesn't like to work on you. A friendly parting of the ways is called for. You can still be her friend, just not her customer. Be nice about it.

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

That is so unfair! First of all, you absolutely CAN NOT "fire" someone as a client. second of all, its HER fault becuz she did not listen to her client, and THATS the reason your not happy. Dont feel bad at all, a trip to the salon should be an enjoyable experiance, not something to worry or feel guilty about! If you dont like what she did (and shes overpaying you) find a new stylist, oh and i wouldnt go to her to get your hair fixed, shell prob just make it worse.

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

You shouldnt feel bad at all if u went in there and clearly expressed to her how u wanted your hair done then she is in the wrong not u so it is not ur fault at all my mom goes threw the same thing wit one of her hairdressers if u guys hate the hair desser so much then stop goin if they neva do ur hair like u want

My hair dresser doesnt want to do my hair, and it thinking about firing me as a customer? why?

well... first of all, why do you even want to go back to someone who, for $200, doesn't give you what you asked for? I'd cut my losses, move on, and find someone you feel comfortable with. You have a right to protect your hair!!!

however, a hair stylist does have the right to refuse service to anyone... especially if it is someone who complains every time they do their hair.... where you might start to wonder if it is indeed YOU that is the problem is when the 2nd and 3rd hairstylist "fires" you as well.

She might be doing you a huge favor. Cut your losses (pun intended) and move on. Next time, pay attention.... ask why DURING the cut, color, style you are not getting what you asked for. Many times, silence implies consent. Speak up DURING the event!!!

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

I am looking into getting my hair straightened... permanetly??

(or at least until it grows out, or for a few months).

I have asked allot of people what its like and things like and how its done...

I absolutely understand that its damaging to your hair... BUT

I have med-long wavy thick hair. I do not have damaged hair and have never died it, and its thick and grows fairly fast.

Would it still be OK to go through with it... which I REALLY want to do.

Dont get me wrong... I do appreciate the natural curls/waves that I have, but I consider that it would grow back eventually, and it would be a brake from the heavy wavyness...

And any other things I need to know about it before I get it done

????

Price??.... (in Canada)

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

Damaging only occurs if u abuse your hair a lot. Look straightening dosent mean, you can just go easy on the maintenance. I reguarly straigthten my hair. My hair looks really great. But maintaining them is the tough part. You have a use a mild damage control shampoo, and strong conditioner. Have to oil your hair regularly. Get a hair spa once or twice in a week, for atleast a month after straightening. Also, have to regularly use a leave in conditioner. Best part of straightening is, you dont have to blow dry em. Just wash, apply leave in condit, and go out. your hair dries straight. Id say go for it if u can give time to your hair.

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

right...basically chemical straightening is similar process to perming, same chemicals used etc...just no rollers.

shud not be done on bleached as..well u wont have ne left.

you need to make sure the week b4 u have it done, that u do a deep conditioning treatment and dont wash ur hair for 24 hours b4 the treatment.

and then...after....dont was hair for 48 hours, use loads of reconstructing conditioning treatments.

not sure on price over here in the uk its about 鎷?0.

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

Well I couldn't tell you the price, but straightening your hair isn't going to make it any less thick or heavy and if it isn't that curly it really won't ever go completely straight just mostly. if you want a break from the thickness then get it thinned out. but i really wouldn't recommend it especially if your hair grows fast.

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

HI IM A HAIR DRESSER IT IS OK TO HAVE IT STRAIGHTENED PERMANETLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO A GOOD SALON AND HAVING IT WITH THE BEST PRODUCT MONEY CAN BUY THEN YOUR HAIR WILL STILL FEEL GREAT.

HAIR DRESSER.... Please answer???

The one thing you need to know about chemical straighteners is they will not make your hair poker straight- you will still have to round-brush or flat iron your hair. It will reduce your styling time but not eliminate it completely. Also, a chemical straightener is the same thing as a permanent wave, and just as a perm relaxes, straightened hair starts waving back up. If you are looking to reduce the 'heaviness' of your hair, I think you should try a layered style and razor out the weight. Again, you won't be eliminating style time but you will reduce it. A straightener will help you get the look you want, but the cut is the important part. The end result will be lightness and movement.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

I have almost black hair (and eyebrows) but really fair skin (and freckles). I have always wanted to try being blonde, if only for a while. I recently lost 100 lbs (on my own, through sheer will power!) and I really want to do this ! I went to 2 hair salons and they both did not want to tint my eyebrows (like a medium brown?) at all and only wanted to do medium brown hair with teeny tiny highlights.

They said my hair could handle the treatment, but they don't think it will look good.

I wound up spending $300 and all they did was dye my hair medium to dark brown with a few darkest blonde tiny streaks, which I hate. I don't want to go back, it's not the money, it's just, why won't they let me dye it blonde??\

ps I'm 1/2 or more Italian descent, but so are Madonna %26amp; Gwen Stefani %26amp; they are quite blonde (I'm not saying I want to look like that).

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

If they charged you $300 for a job that you are not happy with, GO BACK! YOU are the customer and YOU are always right. If they think it will look bad, then they shouldn't have to worry because they're not the ones that have to live with it. Plus, it's not like it will be hard to go back to black if it looks terrible. COMPLAIN! That is WAAAAAY too much money to not get what you want.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

rember hair dresser always know best not unless she really jacks you up holla

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

She cant tell you what to do. Dont go their anymore and go somewhere else. Dont go back and that way we she can think twice before telling her costumer what to do.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

Maybe you should listen to him

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

It's your hair- a hairdresser cannot tell you what to do. They may think it won't look good and can make recommendations, but it's your choice. Go to a qualified person who can perform the service.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

There is a lot of damage in bleaching. That said, if you want to go blond, you have no choice but to use a lot of bleach and that damages your hair. Black is a prevailing color. I am sure that it took a lot of courage for your hairdressers to change the color to brown with highlights. Wait a little bit and then change the color to blond. You hair has a better chance of getting blond right now than before.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

get soemone else to do it.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

Going from dark brown to blonde is more than just a one step process. I suggest speaking to a colorist who is willing to help you with the process and give you the results you desire.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

i would ask the hairdresser why they think its a bad idea...and as a hairdresser, i might have to agree, you're probably not going to like it unless you go all blonde and even then, you're going to have to get it touched up like every 6 weeks which is a lot...but awesome job on the weight loss..wish i could do that...i need to loose about 90lbs...good luck

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

if i were you i would get a new hairdresser

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

Well, I'm sure they were only trying to help you make a decision that you will not be sorry for later, but if you really want to do it no matter what then just keep trying to find a hairdresser who will just do what you say and not try to give advice. There are some of those out there....or you could go back to the place that did it and tell them you are unsatified with the results because it is not what you asked for and that you want it done correctly....unless you agreed to that brown color, in which case you may not be able to do that........anyway........there's someone out there who will just do as you say no matter how they think it will look, just keep talking to hairdressers until you find someone. Good Luck.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

first wow are they overcharging......and it has to do with how many levels you can go up in hair color...without it looking like a dime store job...no hair dressser wants there name on i did that ......i think a med brown or a bit lighter without looking is best answer.....and some things defy natural acccept that..

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

Well that's why she has a shop so she can do hair. If people pays her to do their hair then she is suppose to do what they have asked of her. So its simple if she does not do it then go else where.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

Generally, going from black to blonde is VERY harsh on your hair. They would have to strip the color from it then recolor. That's a lot of chemical processes to go through and really damages your hair. Believe me, I've gone from black to blonde on more than one occassion. Sure it's cool for a little while, but when the dark roots start showing and you look like trailer trash you'll reconsider. Plus, to do the roots you'd have to bleach them out (another 2 step process) and it could break your hair at the previous bleached point.

At $300 I think you are being majorly overcharged... However, all the hairdressers I know refuse to do that drastic of a bleach job. Something about covering their own butts when things go terribly wrong...

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

What your asking for is very difficult to do correctly if your hair is dark. Depending on wether your hair is colored dark or naturally dark is an important factor. If your hair is colored dark it's very difficult to lighten. Hair color doesn't lift hair color so using a pre lightener (hair bleach) is the only option. If your hair is naturally dark (virgin) it can be colored lighter with hair color but most often grabs gold or brassy. In this case a pre lightner is also your only option. Pre lightner can damage your hair if done incorrectly. If you want your hair white blonde especially. It can take several processes just to get that light. Most stylist wouldn't want to do this process because damage can be done if it's not watched. I suggest seeing a color specialist. They can do this process correctly but will cost you plenty because it's considered color correction. Color correction takes a VERY long time. That's why it can cost so much. As far as coloring your eyebrows. Most states make it illegal for a stylist to color eye brows with hair color because manufactuers don't recomend it.( there are stylists out there that still do it anyway) However it's legal for them to use eyebrow / eyelash tint. Most often this color is deposit only which means to make darker.

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

k, kelly, here are the facts. i would love to do your hair... sorry you are having so many probs with these hairdressers.

anyway... i understand where they are coming from, but they should just accept the challenge, its not like they don't have a huge array of products to work with if something goes wrong... or maybe they just aren't confident in the products they have to use. either way, you got raped, and that really sucks!

bottom line is that your hair is gonna get very damaged, but you would have had a better chance if they had of just done what you wanted the first time, cuz now you are gonna have to go back and re-submit your hair to the bleach, and truthfully its gonna be bad news.

i want to recomend that you use "kaliedocolors" it is THE BEST bleach i have found. it processes for 10mins and that it IT you get even, great color in 10mins---way better than some products that process for 55mins or more.

in conclusion i say go to sallys beauty supply and find a friend to help you if you have any confidence in your hair coloring skills. otherwise, find someone who will do it, cuz it is possible. also i agree with RED you spent way too much money at that one place to not be happy, so if you wanna go back i think you should ask them to give you what you want. and again, congrats on losing that weight.... just don't find it again!!!!

My hair dresser doesn't want to dye my hair blonde; what should I do?

wel this is easy. SInce your hair is dark , its okay to dye your hair blonde because you can always go back. ( if your blonde and go back and want to come back, it does NOT work , trust me, my sister for example, she was a dark blonde, went brown, hated it, tried to go back, but it looks SO wierd. but ok i mean she has to get those root touch up things but whatever)just go back a since your hair is lighter, they might do it, if not, go somewhere else. for those who think she paid alot , your wrong, since they died her hair, and added probably 2 diferent blonde color highlights, then it would add up to that. and if she got her hair cut it would add to that too.

but basically , if they still wont do it, and you dont feel comfortable with going some where else, go buy a L' Oreal blonde hair dye, or that other one that begins with a C (cant remember it sorry!)

and they have like tons of diferent blonde colors. and these dont look cheap either so yeah. You could see if John Fredia has hair dye, i think they do. pick one out and have a friend help (follow directions carefully!!) and there ya go. It worked for my friend jill. (went the same way your going, and it looks good on her) I had to help and it was a blast. (we had to dye her hair twice becuz i meesed up on a direction cuz i was crakin up!!)

You could also go back and complain to the manager, but i wouldnt do it. i would go back and see if theyll do. (also always go with a couple of friends when you back, that way itll be like 3 against 1 !!!) it. it is totally up to you . good luck!!

well anyway you could also

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

My daughter has very fine, long, wavy hair, and it often just looks like a frizzy mass; is there something I can do to make her hair more manageable? a product or technique? any suggestions? Shes only four but loves having her hair long, we just need a way to make it easier to work with so it doesnt look a mess an hour after we do her hair in the morning.....

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

My daughter has the same texture of hair as your daughter. She was 5 when I had her Godmother (a professional hairdresser) flat-iron her hair. There are only three hairdresser that I will trust to flat-iron her hair. I chose one of them because her daughters had a fine texture of hair also.

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

Umm... you could straighten it. buy a flat iron and do it.. but i dont know how safe that is since she's soo young. because straightening it makes it much easier to manage. and its pretty

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

hey ya lullu my Mum is a hair dresser and she always uses de frizz stuff and it controls the friz in your hair and even try straightening it with a hair straightener coz i find it keeps my hair straight, neat and tidy for the whole day!!! ps. i couldnot live without my hair straightner and de-frizz hair stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

You aren't using baby shampoo on her, are you? It can be very drying. If so, start by changing shampoos.

Besides that, I would go with styling products. I have very thick poofy hair and always used the spray in conditioners when I was young-it helped to keep it down a bit. However, she may need more than that. Try any of the anti-frizz products-most work pretty good. I doubt a four year old will have enough patience for much styling!

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

There are many products on the market today. Stop by your local salon, they should be able to suggest something. I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny. It softens the frizz and makes my hair shine. It's not harmful to the hair either. Matrix makes a great shampoo and conditioner that will help also. I would not recommend a flat iron, it damages the hair, and you could severely burn your daughter.

Hair dresser with experience with children's hair??

well u should slick it back , first get a perm!!! then slick it back

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

I'm going to get my hair done at a salon for the first time in ages. One of my friends has cut my hair for years %26amp; she has moved out of state. I want to get a cut with highlights and lowlights. How much will this cost? Like, what is the average?

Thanks!

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

It depends on the legnth of your hair...and how harsh your color is now and how light you'd like to go...but it's usually around %26amp;90.00 to %26amp;110.00

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

It really depends on how nice the salon is. If you want really cheap prices, a beauty school would be the best place.

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

a place like 'Rolf's' anywhere from $225-275

a place like 'Laqueesha's Hair %26amp; Nails' $100

a place like 'Your Kitchen' $25

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

My sister wants that and she asked the hair cutter.

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

For the average salon it is based on length.

Short hair - $45-$60

Medium - $55-$80

Long - $65- $100

Super Long - $100+

Hair Dressers/Stylists...I have a question...?

Yes you may receive this service at a local beauty school, but I suggest you visit a salon with a master colorist. Hair color is a tricky thing and requires a certain level of time the colorist has been in the business. Of coures it will cost more, but you will look good! If there is a school that teaches only hair color in your area, that may work. If you see someone with the service you want, ask them where they go.

What is the best way i can keep my hair healthy, full and thick without going to a hair dresser?

i have short dyed hair {neck length}, split ends, breakage everywhere. i use to have long thick, full healthy hair to my back and it broke off when my mom allowed the hair lady to cut my hair when i was 12. it grew back when i was 13, then broke off again. now it just wont do anything. i grease it every 2x a week and wrap it everynight. hair dressers cost too much because of my financial problems. what can i do to get my hair to grow back?

i know that african american women have different hair then women who arent AA. so what can i do?

What is the best way i can keep my hair healthy, full and thick without going to a hair dresser?

There are many products out there that can help your hair, which sounds like it's damaged. I would know, because I have colored hair too, and I went through a period where it was breaking off not only beacause of the color, but because I used too much heat (flat-iron, hair dryer).

The BEST thing to do is condition like crazy. You want to find a good conditioner at a beauty supply store and try to condition your hair a few times a week, but when you do, leave the conditioner in for about 20 minutes, and then wash it out. There is no magic product to help your hair, unfortunately, only certain methods.

Other advice would be to limit heat damage to your hair (I don't know if you use hot tools or anything). Get regular hair cuts as well. I know you want long hair, but long hair with split ends is not attractive - it's better to get your hair trimmed until the split ends are gone, because then it will feel fuller. I know this all first-hand. And your hair grows faster when you get regular trims too.

I would also suggest perhaps limiting coloring your hair, or finding some other way around it if you are afraid of future breakage. It's just a fact that color does damage the hair, and for people like us who can't afford the best treatment possible every single day like the stars of Hollywood, it can be difficult. Good luck!

What is the best way i can keep my hair healthy, full and thick without going to a hair dresser?

One way to ensure strong hair is to get your vitamins everyday. Take a supplement that conatins Biotin- that's the building block of hair and nails. Also getting enough water makes a huge difference.

Our hair length is "programmed" into us. Some people can not grow long hair. Its pretty common to have long hair as a child, cut it and then never have it grow so long again.

As hair falls out it is replaced by new hair. It takes about 7 years for the entire head of hair to shed and be replaced. So essentially every 7 years you have fresh hair. If you have damaged the strands with chemicals, or sometimes even antibiotics and other medications can cause breakage, sticking to a healthy diet and getting enough biotin and calcium can get you that thick hair if you stick with it long enough.
