Hair dying question?????

i got my hair dyed and bleached today. afterwards the hair dresser washed it out of my hair. im still finding some dye in my hair. some of it being hard and some still wet in clumps. i was wondering if it would be bad to wash my hair.

No, Not Bad, for Gods sake wash your hair... if someone has seen what the stylist left in your hair,you might want to have them write it down on a piece of paper in the event you have some unwanted damage to your hair. Breakage etc...Bleach isn't something to mess around with. As far as the stylist, I do hope you didn't pay for your services and if you did I'd get my $$$ back if I were you...I also am a stylist...I hope it all turns out ok, but go wash your hair...

yes wash it! its ok to shampoo and condition again

if you dont, you will have permanent blobs on your hair where the dye had sat for a long time.

and do yourself a favor and dont go back to that haridresser!

Wash your hair so that you can get the dye out of it so that it does not stay in but if you want that color then leave it go but you will do the right thing.

You can't hurt the dye job now.

Just make sure you moisturize it well.

You might even try washing it with conditioner instead of shampoo.

That is a great way to get rid of the excess.

Barring that, wash it with a mild conditioning shampoo (not baby shampoo) and then put a heavy moisturizer on it and let it sit (15 minutes or more) then rinse.

The final rinse should be with cold water to seal the color.

In the final analysis, the answer is: "no," it won't do you any harm.

Its hard to believe you left and paid a hair stylist to leave you that way. It is not dye and bleach at the same time. You would be in pain.It has to be a rinse and bleach. If you must shampoo after the rinse do it once with a color safe shampoo so it will not strip . Its hard to give more advice without history on your hair.
