Getting hair thinned out? help please! (o:3?

i want to get my hair thinned out.

i have thick hair and it's long %26amp; it's brown. i always straighen it too.

what should i tell the hair dresser? do i ask for the whole head?

but i don't want it to look like i have thin hair and i still want to have my thick hair.

the reason why i want to get it is the bottom of my hair gets almost wider than the rest of my hair and my hair isn't frizzy :)

Tell the stylist that you want to get rid of the bulk (show her where) %26amp; that you want long layers put in. She'll know what to do if she's a good hair stylist. There's no such thing as your hair getting wider at the bottom. It may be thicker there because, but it's not wider there. Make sure you get your ends trimmed every six weeks, as it'll eliminate the dry ends that can turn frizzy.
