If u want your hair ash blonde u would have to bleach it to lift the colour..

If this is your first time dying i would suggst going to the hair dressers and showing them the colour that u want... They will be able to get it that colour for u...... No matter what u decide whether it be highlights or an all over colour.. U have to keep in mind. the colour may look good on her but will it look good one u??

If u have a lot of red hues in your hair u may need to ( when u bye red hair dye the bottle of colour u mix in) u may need to put that over yur hair to take the red out... Best bet is going to salon... It may cost more but in the end it will be well worth it

I don't know what they're talking about, but i can see the picture fine.

Anyways, if you have dark brown hair and want to get it that color, you should go to the hair dresser and ask for platinum highlights, but mostly on the top layer of your head. (I'm pretty sure it's called 1/2 head of highlights)

Also, bring in the picture so you can show them EXACTLY what you want. They are trained professionals after all.

It's hard to get your hair that color and not recommended if you have dark hair. Your hair would have to be bleached all over, highlighted and lowlighted. If your hair is dark and long, it will end up being very damage.

in this picture she just had heavily highlighted hair which was done with bleach (the ONLY way to achieve blonde from brown) she would of had bands and foils.

You described it as "ash blonde"...make sure you use that exact term when you go to have your hair done. If you use an ash shade, it will diminish the reddish tendency that darker hair tends to have.

for the darker look then go to walgreens and go to the hair department they have a do it your self colors that say match your hair color and thenit shows you the color it will high light and put it where you want it in your hair and follow the instructions
