yes it would, many of my friends have had it done BUT it is NOT good for your hair in the long run. So its up to you

thinning your hair with "thinning sheers" at the hairdresser does NOT reduce frizz. it adds texture and reduces thickness of the hair. if you want a solution to fly-aways, then use a baby wipe and just smooth over any fly aways. %26amp; you'll be suprised to know that it actually works

It would make it less full which may make it look slightly less frizzy, or at least not so bushy, but it would not make your hair smooth or get rid of the flyaway bits. The best thing I have found for this is a very small amount of serum rubbed into the palms and then smoothed down the length of the hair.

Hi I used to get my hair thinned at the hairdressers, It didint make a difference to the Frizzyness or flyways just made it less bushy and easier to manage, Hair serum before blowdrying is the best thing to use and then straightening you hair too will leave it frizz free, if you have a few fly aways just spray some hairspray on a brush and brush though and this will lay them flat.

I dont go for the thinning any more as its just not enough for my hair and to much thinnning can cause hair to go all weird like it did to mine. I just get my hair layered all other which takes out the thickness and straighten it after I have blow dried. Always remember to use a heat protection spray too.
