I have pretty long hair and I want to get and emo style haircut. my question is:
Should I go to a barber shop or do you think that a person in a unisex hair salon would know more about emo hair, or anything else that you might recommend.
Also, what is the best way to make the hair dresser understand what type of hair i want so that he/she doesnt give me a woman haircut?

i think going to a barber shop is a bad idea. Not because i don't like barbers but because they might not be up on the latest trends. Visit some salons and tell them what you are looking for. Most stylists in salons are up with the newest trends because thats our job! ALSO bring a picture, that always helps. :) hope i've helped!
